As you have probably figured out by now, we are back in our Kentucky home. You can read all about that on the blog HERE, where I explain a portion of the transition and reasoning.
Being back “home” comes with all kinds of feelings. Now that we are settled back in, I feel glad to be back, although I was also happy where I was. It is a weird array of emotions, to be honest. I know God always has our best interest in mind, and while I can’t see the full picture- I know HE does, and that is what matters. In saying all of that, I am back in a place that I know I will be fully settled for a good while now (or at least that is what I think LOL)…so that brings me to look at this home in a whole new way!
We moved into this home 6 years ago, and we started building it about 8 years ago. In that length of time, lots of my styles have shifted, and while I have changed a few things about the house over the years, I haven’t changed much. Don’t get me wrong- I still LOVE my home. I love the nuts and bolts and most DEFINITELY the setting. Our land is my very favorite!
